CTO, Optics and Holography Investigator, Distinguished Scientist

An internationally recognized holographer and inventor, Mr. Newswanger has a 35 year history in the field of holography and related fields. Following 6 years with Disney as an Imagineer, he partnered with friends to make large format holograms at Advanced Dimensional Displays which after a number of years transformed through acquisitions and joint ventures into a branch of CFC International where he created optical systems and methods for holographic security and packaging with customers such as Microsoft, Intel and Colgate Palmolive. CFC was purchased by ITW in 2006 and continues to use systems developed by Mr. Newswanger for the bulk of their holographic products. Mr. Newswanger is named in 17 patents as either inventor or co-inventor. He has presented technical papers at a number of international Symposia and conferences.
