Dr. Ann Majewicz is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering in the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Majewicz directs the HeRo (Human-enabled Robotic Technology ) Lab and her research interests include robotics, dynamic systems and control, medical and surgical robots, teleoperation, and haptics. The HeRo Lab aims to improve healthcare by synthesizing information, sharing knowledge, and assisting with the delivery of care and aims to translate effective robotic technology into clinical use, by focusing on novel electro-mechanical systems, intuitive teleoperation strategies, and human-robot sensory interactions for medical intervention, simulation, and training.
